Top 10 nominees for the 2011 .INFO Awards announced

Afilias, a global provider of registry operations services and the registry operator for the .INFO top-level domain (TLD), announced that the 2011 .INFO Awards – celebrating the tenth anniversary of the .INFO domain -- are now open for public voting. Anyone can now vote for his or her favorite of the top 10 .INFO nominees, selected by a panel of distinguished judges. The fifth annual .INFO Awards are now in full swing. As a celebration during the tenth anniversary of the .INFO domain, Afilias is offering larger-than-ever cash prizes -- including a $10,000 first prize -- for the best .INFO sites of 2011.

Thueringen.info Takes Top Honor of Best .INFO Web site of 2009

First place was awarded to thueringen.info, a travel information portal in the Thuringia area of Germany.
